The Annual Afflictions 2023

Classical Feng Shui

The new Feng Shui year begins on the 4th February 2023, in line with the Chinese solar year, Li Chun, the first day of Spring. The four annual afflictions change sectors and stay in one position for the year. These locations are important when considering ground breaking, construction and noisy activity in your plot and property.

Recommendations

Doors

• For 2023 the front door is located in the East sector where the Grand Duke annual affliction resides, which is very unfavourable.
• One of the back doors is located in South West sector, where the Year Breaker and the Three Killings reside, which is unfavourable.
• To have triple unfavourable influences by external doors may cause a difficult year ahead for the occupants, from events that you can see unfolding (Grand Duke), to events that come out of nowhere (Three Killings and Year Breaker).
• It is advised to avoid slamming the external doors during 2023.
• Keep all external doors quiet and undisturbed for the year.

In the East sector, the Grand Duke resides (shaded red)

• The entrance door and entrance hallway.
• The most important influence to pay attention to.
• Avoid any new construction.
• Avoid ground breaking, digging, demolition, maintenance in the exterior/interior.
• Avoid renovations, remodelling, decoration in the interior.
• Avoid noisy activities, disturbance, clutter, untidiness.

In the West sectors, the Three Killings resides (shaded green)

• The whole back garden.
• No majority in interior rooms.
• Avoid any new construction.
• Avoid ground breaking, digging, demolition, maintenance in the exterior/interior.
• Avoid renovations, remodelling, decoration in the interior.
• Avoid noisy activities, disturbance, clutter, untidiness.

In the North West sector, the Five Yellow Star (shaded yellow)

• The lounge of the kitchen diner with patio doors to the garden.
• In general this star is troublesome, causing conflict, illness, accident and loss.
• Avoid spending a long time in this year for the year.
• Avoid any new construction.
• Avoid ground breaking, digging, demolition, maintenance in the exterior/interior.
• Avoid renovations, remodelling, decoration in the interior.
  Avoid noisy activities, disturbance, clutter, untidiness.
• Place a metal object by the external plot wall, and or within the home near the back door, to weaken the effects.

In the West sector, the Year Breaker resides (shaded blue)

• The majority of the back garden.
• No majority in interior rooms.
• Avoid any new construction.
• Avoid ground breaking, digging, demolition, maintenance in the exterior/interior.
• Avoid renovations, remodelling, decoration in the interior.
• Avoid noisy activities, disturbance, clutter, untidiness.

General Advice

• For 2023, as multiple influences are in the back garden, avoid noisy activities and any major gardening. Keep the area well kept and quiet.
